We're a bit different! We're about delivering excellent service to our clients whilst enjoying our working lives, and still having time to maximise our potential outside of work.

With around 250 people based in the heart of Birmingham, Shakespeare Putsman is now one of the largest providers of legal advice in the Midlands, is the fourth biggest firm in Birmingham and ranks within the top 110 law firms in the UK. We advise both businesses and individuals and we work hard to continually sharpen our focus on delivering excellent service and value for money to our clients.

At the heart of this promise is the ability to respond quickly to clients' needs and to remain flexible and creative in our approach. We'd like to think we're straightforward to deal with - so no big marketing promises – just a commitment to meet our clients' needs in the best way we can.

So what's the background to our firm? Shakespeare Putsman was created in April 2007 by a combination of two of Birmingham's oldest law firms - Shakespeares Solicitors and Putsmans LLP. Both firms have a long and proud history with Shakespeares, for example, able to trace its roots back to the mid-nineteenth century.
