Information technology law specialist Andrew Hartshorn has joined Birmingham law firm Shakespeare Putsman as a partner.
Andrew joins the firm from Pinsent Masons where was head of the Birmingham IT team and a partner in the outsourcing, technology and commercial group.
Andrew has over 12 years experience in advising clients on all aspects of technology matters ranging from web and e-commerce issues through to large scale IT and IT-related outsourcing in both the public and private sectors.
Andrew's recent projects include advising a major training business on the implementation of a business critical e-commerce and online booking system and, in the public sector, advising the City and County of Swansea on its £83m Strategic Partnership Agreement with Capgemini.
More recently, Andrew has advised on the ICT aspects of a number of Building Schools for the Future projects, including two of the three Pathfinder schemes at Bristol and Greenwich.
