Corporate team advises Avingtrans on £3.5m deal

Shakespeare Putsman's corporate team has advised longstanding AIM listed Nottingham business Avingtrans on its £3.5 million conditional placing.

Specialist engineering company Avingtrans will invest the majority of the money in additional capital equipment to significantly expand the manufacturing capability at its plant at Chengdu, China.

The money was raised by Avingtrans' Nominated Adviser KBC Peel Hunt Limited who were advised by London-based Dorsey & Whitney.

The Shakespeare Putsman team was led by corporate partner Keith Spedding who said: "Raising this money in such challenging market conditions is a great testament to the Avingtrans team. This injection of capital will allow the company to build on their existing assets in China and to strengthen its position in key markets."
