Two new partners join Shakespeare Putsman

Birmingham law firm Shakespeare Putsman has recruited two new partners. Paula Whelan joins Shakespeare Putsman as an employment partner this week while ex-Pinsent Masons partner Andrew Hartshorn will head up the firm's growing IT and technology team from September.

Paula was previously an in-house employment lawyer for Christian Salvesen, part of the French-owned international logistics business Norbert Dentressangle, and brings with her extensive experience of advising on restructures, redundancies, TUPE, Tribunal litigation and discrimination across the company's UK operations.

She has also worked for both Hammonds and Eversheds in Birmingham and is looking forward to the challenges of working in private practice again.

Shakespeare Putsman Chief Executive Paul Wilson said: "We are really pleased to welcome Paula and Andrew to the firm as partners. Their arrival is testament to our growing ability to attract high quality senior people to our business and we look forward to supporting them both in building their own practices."
