Shakespeare Putsman strengthens insurance team

Shakespeare Putsman has promoted Julie Park as a partner and Christopher Drayton as an associate within its insurance team.

Julie specialises in dealing with high value catastrophic injury claims on behalf of a number of major insurer clients. She advises on all aspects of personal injury litigation, including road traffic, employers' liability and public liability claims and has a special interest in brain injury cases.

Both Julie and Christopher have long service records with Putsmans, which became Shakespeare Putsman in April 2007. Julie trained with Putsmans and qualified in 2000 becoming an associate in 2004. Christopher started his career with the firm 15 years ago and has experience of all aspects of insurance litigation work from both a defendant and claimant perspective.

Christopher became a Member of the Institute of Legal Executives in 2001 and became a Fellow in 2003. He currently works in the large loss team at Shakespeare Putsman defending claims for insurers, doing Employers' Liability and Public Liability work and acting on behalf of some of the countries leading public transport providers. He specialises in defending all types of large loss and personal injury claims arising from road traffic accidents. He is particularly interested in low velocity impact claims and advising bus companies on defending claims.
