New insurance partner joins Shakespeare Putsman

Stephen Garrett has joined Birmingham law firm Shakespeare Putsman as a partner in the firm's insurance division.

Stephen joins from Hawkins Hatton LLP where he was a senior partner when the practice opened in 2006, and brings with him over 30 years experience in insurance law.

His extensive experience includes dealing with all aspects of defendant insurance litigation including public liability claims, and high value personal injury claims in particular from road traffic accidents. Stephen has a well established reputation in the industry and a strong client base including a number of major London based insurers.

Commenting on his appointment, Stephen Garrett said: "Shakespeare Putsman is well known in the insurance industry for their technical capability and experience and as a result their instructions are constantly growing.
