Julia started working on personal injury claims for insurers over twenty years ago and, despite intending to become a tax lawyer, has never escaped from the world of insurance. Julia continues to be fascinated with insurance law and its consequences. Over the last ten years she has specialised on larger value claims including brain injury in particular, but also lesser known conditions such as chronic pain syndrome. Her interest in the way the rules and procedures we are obliged to work under are constantly changing led her to become a part time District Judge on the Midland and Oxford Circuit in 2002. Outside work her time is taken up with family (Edward & Florence), boating and with trying to keep their garden in Shropshire tidy.
