Richard has over 25 years experience spanning all areas of commercial property work ranging from advice to tenants taking short term business leases, to major redevelopment schemes. In recent years he has also specialised in development work including site acquisitions, planning, construction and disposals as well as the associated financing arrangements.

Richard has also over 20 years experience of acting for clients in the not for profit sector including advice on constitutional issues, loan agreements, securitisation work, management agreements and joint ventures in addition to providing conveyancing services. He retains strong links with that sector and currently acts for a number of Colleges and charitable organisations.
