Stephen is the Head of our Litigation Division. He specialises in commercial litigation, insolvency and banking recoveries. He acts on behalf of major banks and institutions and undertakes both secured and unsecured recovery work.

Stephen graduated from the University of Birmingham in 1976 and, after completing his Law Society Finals, joined Shakespeares as an articled clerk. He was admitted as a solicitor in 1979 and became a partner in 1985. He was appointed a Deputy District Judge in 1991 and has sat on the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal since 2001. Stephen is also a Solicitor Advocate.
