What we're looking for: Experienced Costs Analyser

What's involved: Working as part of a large team considering bills and schedules of costs, formulating offers and negotiating settlements.
What you'll need: Experience of a broad range of costs analysis work with a strong technical background. Experience of drafting points of dispute and dealing with court applications, as well as advocacy would be preferred.

What you'll need: Experience in a range of costs analysis work with a good understanding of technical costs issues.

What we're looking for: Paralegal x 2

What's involved: Based in our large, busy defendant insurance department the role involves providing support to more senior colleagues working mainly on large value claims. The work will include review of medical records and reports and quantification of loss of earnings. There is also the potential to attend court and take witness statements.
What you'll need: A demonstrable interest in personal injury work as well as a sound knowledge of CPR rules is essential. Confidence, good organisational skills and good attention to detail also required.

What we're looking for: Paralegal

What's involved: The wider team deal with recovery proceedings in respect of secured and unsecured lendings. More specifically this team provides a conveyancing service in order to sell the properties that are the result of mortgage repossession proceedings. The work includes liaison with purchasers' solicitors, HM Land Registry and other parties where appropriate, preparation of contract documentation and effecting exchange of contracts, taking matters to completion and dealing with all associated financial transactions.
What you'll need: Proven experience within residential conveyancing essential with the ability to manage own caseload. The successful candidate will need to be confident talking to clients and their estate agents, be IT literate, enthusiastic, bright and committed. Excellent communication and organisational skills are a must.

What we're looking for: Analyst / Programmer

What's involved: Contributing to the development of PC based systems to meet the business requirements of the firm. The emphasis of the post is on the design and development of new PC based applications.
What you'll need: Full product lifecycle experience. VB development. VBA for office applications. SQL development. Ability to debug and amend code. Imaginative approach to code. Data migration and warehousing. Using odbc data sources with many database backbones (mySQL, MS SQL Server, MS Access, informix). The role also demands a flexible attitude, ability to perform under pressure, a commitment to quality and a thorough approach to the work.

What we're looking for: Business Development & Marketing Assistant

What's involved: Undertaking detailed client and competitor research and profiling to support the Business Development Manager and Commercial Director. Administering the firm's client database and sales pipeline. Provision of front line support to a small but busy marketing team and the Commercial Director covering a wide range of tasks. Mainly administrative support and also research, internal event coordination and liaison with suppliers.
What you'll need: Minimum one year experience in a similar role is essential, ideally studying towards CIM Certificate/Diploma. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, highly organised and capable of meeting multiple deadlines in a pressurised environment.

What we're looking for: Assistant

What's involved: Provision of dedicated administrative support to the Chief Executive, his Executive Assistant and the Head of Compliance often in a highly pressure environment. Duties are predominantly administrative.
What you'll need: Unfaltering confidentiality is integral to this role. In addition, essential requirements are; strong organisational skills, flexibility, proactivity and a 'can do' attitude where the individual is keen to take personal responsibility for assigned tasks and happy to make decisions where appropriate. Good communication skills, both written and verbal, and the desire to grow as the role develops. Proficiency in the following is required; Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

What we're looking for: Administrative Assistant

What you'll need: Fast, accurate keyboard skills, strong attention to detail with the ability to choose the right information and record data accurately. Additionally a confident telephone manner is required and an interest in legal work would be a definite advantage
What's involved: File opening, scanning, invoice matching, pro-active diary management, completion of court documents
